Case Study

Artista is a personal design project made with Adobe XD. It's a mobile art auction app. I took the idea for it from Sharpen design (a web app with the purpose to give designers challenges and design prompts)

Logo

Simple yet beautiful mark, combining the initial of the brand with a "dot" giving a feel of old serif fonts and pre XX Century printing.

Colors

Classical black and white with one Brand color. I decided to use red as the brand, CTA and user flow color. Normally red is considered "an alert" element on mobile apps. Here I'm using warmer and more alive tone of red, which suits the grey, white and black palette.

Typography

I'm usng two Google fonts, with the main font being a serif one. It connects to the App's Logo and overall style for an Art Curation or Auction.
